Use comma-separated names, such as Google, Trustpilot, G2, Airbnb, or any source you want us to check.

What comes back in the API response?

You get the review text, star rating, author name, review date, source platform, and the original review link, in a simple JSON shape your app can use.

How do I import Google reviews into my site?

Paste the Google Maps or search business link into the endpoint with the Google platform name, and the response returns the reviews for that place. From there you decide how to render them, whether that is a testimonial section, a badge, or a full reviews page.

How is this different from a first party review API?

One endpoint across every supported source, so you do not learn a separate SDK, manage separate credentials, or track separate rate limits per platform (Google, Trustpilot, and the rest each have their own). It also covers sources that have no first party public review API, so you can pull Airbnb, G2, and app store reviews the same way you pull Google.

Which languages can I call the API from?

It is a plain HTTPS endpoint that returns JSON, so any language or framework with an HTTP client works: curl, Node, Python, Go, Ruby, PHP, or a serverless function. No SDK is needed.

Is there a free trial or starter credits?

Not right now. During early access we set up a starter credit pack per workspace once we have seen the platforms you plan to fetch, so pricing matches your actual sources and volume. Request access and we will share the options.

What happens if a review link returns nothing?

You get a structured error in the response with a clear code and message when a link is invalid or has no reviews, and the request is not counted against your credits. Your app can retry, surface the error, or fall back to another source.

Can I fetch every review for a place, or only the first page?

The endpoint accepts a pagination cursor, so you can pull the first page for a quick display or walk through the full history in your own job. Deep pagination costs more credits, so you decide how far to go per request.

Is it legal to scrape reviews from these platforms?

ReviewOS only fetches public review pages, does not sign in on your behalf, and respects platform robots rules. You still decide how to use the data on your own site, so if a platform's terms restrict redistribution or require attribution, that is on the caller to honour.

Where is my review data stored, and do you cache it?

Each request fetches the reviews at that moment, so freshness stays in your control. We do not hold a long term copy of the review content for you, and we do not resell it. Basic request logs stay for account visibility and support.

What is the rate limit per credit pack?

Each credit pack ships with a request limit that matches the volume it is sized for, so a small pack for a landing page and a large pack for a dashboard have different ceilings. The exact numbers come with the pricing we share during access setup.
